Match the belt to the conveyor
Provide the pulley diameters, incline angle, belt speed and support arrangement. Include the loading and discharge locations and the size and weight of the conveyed material. These details help define the space between attachments and their clearance around the pulleys and conveyor frame.
For a replacement, send photographs of the carrying surface, underside, cleat joints and belt joint. Include any damaged attachment, tracking marks or areas where material collects.
Food handling and cleaning requirements
For direct food contact, specify the product, contact temperature, washdown method and cleaning chemicals. Request compliance documentation for the selected base material and finished assembly, including its joint and attachments.
Specify the required cleaning access around the cleats and sidewalls. Material grade, attachment layout and joint construction should be selected for the actual operating and cleaning conditions.
