HTD 240-5M rubber timing belt
The HTD 240-5M belt shown combines an inner toothed surface with a red outer covering. For a replacement, send the full belt marking and specify width, pitch length or tooth count, covering thickness and finished overall thickness.

Covering and replacement dimensions
The covering adds a separate working surface to the base timing belt. Specify its material, thickness, hardness and surface finish together with the item it contacts. The red colour alone does not identify the covering compound or its performance.

Rubber timing-belt profile reference
The following dimensions cover several profile families in the range. Match the complete profile designation to your pulley; a shared pitch alone does not establish interchangeability. For HTD 5M, the range reference is 5 mm pitch, 2.06 mm tooth height and 3.8 mm base-belt thickness. The covering is additional: specify the finished total thickness separately. Use the complete HTD 240-5M marking and drawing to match the replacement.
