L500/28 leather-faced belt for steel slitting lines
L500/28 is a leather-faced tension belt for the rewinding section of steel slitting lines. The belt contacts the strip as tension is applied during rewinding. Selection depends on the strip finish, contact pressure and machine arrangement, especially when handling galvanized or prepainted sheet.

Leather face, cushioning layer and reinforcement
The original L500/28 construction combines a leather contact face, an elastic-fibre middle layer and a woven polyester base. These layers form the strip-contact surface, cushioning section and reinforcing base of the belt.
For surface-sensitive strip, provide the coating or finish requirements and photographs of any marks from the current belt. Include the machine’s pressure and tension settings so the replacement can be selected for the actual contact conditions.

L500/28 can be discussed as a cut-width and endless-belt requirement. Supply a drawing or existing belt sample showing the length reference, finished width and joint arrangement. For a set of parallel belts, specify the quantity and matching requirements across the machine.
