Material and working conditions
Rubber selection depends on the operating environment and construction. The compound families in our material range include NR, BR, SBR, NBR, CR, EPDM, HNBR, CSM, IIR, NBR/PVC and TPR. Discuss the required compound for your belt; each material has its own performance limits.
| Selection detail | Information to provide |
|---|---|
| Hardness and surface | Required Shore A hardness, contact surface and finish |
| Temperature | Continuous operating temperature, short-term peaks and exposure time |
| Exposure | Contact with oil, water, chemicals, ozone or outdoor conditions |
| Drive and construction | Load, speed, pulley geometry, reinforcement and any electrical-property requirements |
Specify colour separately from the compound and performance requirements. A colour or generic rubber name does not establish oil resistance, temperature capability or antistatic performance.
Tooth-profile reference
The diagram compares several profile families. Use the units shown for each profile and match the full geometry to the pulley. It does not identify the profile or finished dimensions of every belt shown in the product gallery.

Information for a replacement quote
Send the full marking, equipment model, width and finished length or tooth count, together with photographs of the teeth and back. Include the quantity and working conditions so the belt construction can be discussed for your application.
